Our History
Owners, Gaspare and Jill Cucinella, of Joe’s Italian Foods & Pizza opened their doors for business on March 31, 1998. They conveniently located their business on the west side of the square in Newton to provide Jasper County "a little taste of Italy".
Being the oldest son of Joe & Lia Cucinella of Robinson, Gaspare grew up in the restaurant business. His parents’ Robinson location has been in business for over 35 years. Gaspare began making pizza at the young age of 14 and learned English as a second language from local patrons.
Joe's Italian Foods & Pizza is a top-notch family friendly restaurant. The Cucinella's have three young children that love visiting with their restaurant customers! The daily mission is to provide the best service & quality food in a clean friendly environment.
